How to Watch the Temple Owls in 2026
Temple Owls games air on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and CBS Sports Network
The Temple Owls play 12 games in 2026, spread across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and CBS Sports Network through the American Conference's broadcast agreements. American Conference games air across the ESPN networks and CBS Sports Network, with a large share of the schedule streaming exclusively on ESPN+. Non-conference games follow the host school's rights instead, and networks for many games are announced only six to twelve days before kickoff.
Fubo carries the widest single-subscription slice of that map — the ESPN networks, FOX and FS1, the broadcast networks in most markets, and the conference channels — which makes it the simplest one-subscription answer for following the whole season.
No single service carries every college football game. Games that stream exclusively on Peacock, Paramount+, or ESPN+ need those subscriptions — each is covered below. For week-by-week times and channels, see the 2026 schedule.
Channel lineups were checked on August 24, 2026 and change often — confirm the current lineup for your area at fubo.tv before subscribing.
WHERE TEMPLE OWLS GAMES AIR THIS SEASON
This is the actual 2026 broadcast mix from the Temple Owls schedule — which networks carry the most of this team's games, rather than what the conference looks like in general.
6 games have no announced network yet — college kickoffs and channels are typically set only six to twelve days ahead. The 2026 Temple Owls schedule carries the per-game listing and is updated daily.
LIVE TV STREAMING SERVICES THAT CARRY TEMPLE OWLS GAMES
College football is spread across more channels than any other American sport, so the question is which single subscription covers the most of your team's schedule.
Fubo
RECOMMENDED FOR CORD CUTTERSCarries the widest single-subscription slice of the college football map: ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, Big Ten Network, ACC Network, SEC Network, ESPNU, CBS Sports Network, The CW, and local ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC affiliates in most markets.
- Broadest college football channel lineup in one subscription
- Carries the conference networks (BTN, ACC Network, SEC Network)
- Free trial available for new subscribers
- Cloud DVR included for recording games
The alternatives, if you already subscribe to one of these:
YouTube TV
Carries ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN, FS1, and Big Ten Network. The Sports Plan is a cheaper sports-focused tier; the main plan adds general entertainment channels.
Hulu + Live TV
Carries the major broadcast networks plus the ESPN networks, and includes ESPN Unlimited access through the ESPN app — which brings ESPN+, ACCNX, and SECN+ with it.
Sling TV
Cheapest live option. Orange carries ESPN and ESPN2; Blue carries FS1, FOX, and NBC in select markets; the conference networks require Sports Extra. No CBS, which matters for Big Ten afternoon games.
DirecTV
The MySports package is built for this problem — it bundles the broadcast networks, the ESPN networks, FOX/FS1, and the conference channels, with ESPN Unlimited included.
FREE WAYS TO WATCH THE TEMPLE OWLS
Games carried by ABC, CBS, FOX, or NBC are free over the air with an HD antenna. A basic indoor antenna ($20–$40) is enough in most markets.
Streaming free trials are the other zero-cost option — Fubo offers one for new subscribers, which is enough to cover several weeks of the season.
Games that cannot be watched free are the ones exclusive to a streaming service: ESPN+ exclusives, Peacock exclusives, and CBS games streamed through Paramount+ all require their own subscriptions. Conference-network games (Big Ten Network, ACC Network, SEC Network) need a live-TV service or ESPN Unlimited.
DIRECT SUBSCRIPTIONS
Several games each season are exclusive to a single streaming service. These are bought directly, and they are the gaps a live-TV subscription alone will not cover.
For Temple Owls fans without cable, that maps to: ESPN Select for the large ESPN+ share of the conference slate; ESPN Unlimited for ESPN network games plus everything on ESPN+.
- ESPN Unlimited — Every ESPN network including ABC, ESPN2, ESPNU, ACC Network, SEC Network, ACCNX, SECN+, and ESPN+ — no cable login required.
- ESPN Select — The ESPN+ tier on its own. Carries hundreds of exclusive games, heavily weighted toward the Big 12, American, Conference USA, MAC, and Sun Belt.
- Peacock — NBC's Saturday-night games, plus a package of games that stream only on Peacock.
- Paramount+ Premium — Required to stream CBS games live, including the Big Ten afternoon window.
- FOX One — FOX, FS1, FS2, and Big Ten Network in one subscription.
